Then…my car is in the shop. Our mechanic has always been trustworthy and dependable. Seems that when he decided to become undependabe, he did it in a big way. Apparently yesterday while my car was in his shop, he went off on a crack binge. A real, honest to god crack binge. My car is still in his shop, it’s locked up tight and the wife had a wreck on her way to meet me today so I could at least drag my car out and get it towed to Volkswagen.
Tomorrow, apparently, the daughter is going to meet me after school and let me drag my car out. Still no brakes but at least I’ll be able to get my car towed.
Soooooo… crazy crack crazed car repair guy and…yeah….
Seriously? This is who the republicans want for their vice president? Really? At the very least doesn’t it show bad judgement on McCain’s part to pick her? Wow.
With talk of bailing out the financial industry to the tune of $700 million dollars using taxpayer money, I’d like to put my request in for about $56,000.
You see I have some student loans that I have to repay. It’s important that we (my family) stay in business so that we don’t cause local panic and a run on the refrigerator and beer cooler. We have to protect the integrity of the pocketbook.
The only real way to protect this integrity is for the government to either forgive or buy and repay the loans themeselves. When asked, a member of my family who was assured anonymity, responded with “hell yes or maybe you could just get a better job”.
According to local family sources, the outlook for the student loan buyout is “not so great” at this time.
You’ll definetly want to maximize the remaining time you have left to erase all the sites that you really don’t want anyone to know that you’ve been visiting, send emails to your loved ones, to stop the garbage collection as you’ll be out of town for longer than you expected, cancel the new bedroom furniture that you ordered from IKEA and that final email to your mom apologizing for peeing in the flower bed in 10th grade.
